League Overview

Ultra Match Golf provides head to head match play for men and women ages 21 and older. The league operates year round. Each regular season spans an eight-week period. Members are guaranteed to play six regular season matches, plus the chance to participate in a seasonal playoff at the end of the regular season.

Whether you are a beginner or a veteran, Ultra Match Golf offers a unique league experience, including a division for golfers without a handicap.

Here’s how it works:

Start by signing up for Ultra Match Golf and create an online account.
Build a personal profile. Include your contact information, home course, Verified Handicap or Non-Handicap and skill level.
We automatically determine your flight, division, and schedule. We then match you against golfers of similar skill level within acceptable traveling distance.
There are 6 regular season matches. Members are assigned a match per week and allowed a two-week window to schedule and play the match.
Three matches will be played at the home course of your choosing. The other three will be played away. You are welcome to play a home match at your opponent’s course if it is more convenient for both participants.
You and your opponent determine the day and time of the match.
During the regular season, members will have the opportunity to earn points for every match. Points accumulated throughout the season will determine your ranking within your division. The top golfers in each division will qualify for an exciting playoff at the end of the regular season.
Ultra Match Golf’s website will manage your scoring of points, rank/standings, and allows you to scout your next opponent.

Playoffs and Championship Overview:

The regular season is exciting, but the playoffs are even more compelling. Our goal is to try to involve as many members as possible in this wonderful experience.
Win your playoff bracket and move on to play in the season ending Championship, held at an exclusive course.
Top performers will be rewarded with prizes consisting of golf equipment, golf rounds at exclusive courses, and gift certificates for local retailers.
